The blocked isocyanate crosslinkers are divided into two major categories, water and solvent base.

The solvent-base deblocking temperature is 90 degrees, 120 degrees, 150 degrees, 180 degrees. It has HDI biuret/ HDI trimer/IPDI trimer and is suitable for all kinds of single liquid formula. Solvent-based products are mainly provided as cross-linking agents for hydroxy-functional resins (polyester, polyurethane, acrylic, etc.). They are usually formulated as 1-K coating formulations, dried and cured under baking conditions, for example in metal parts such as automobiles.

The water-based deblocking temperature is 120 degrees, HDI trimer, in the textile application field can replace melamine hardener because it does not contain formaldehyde. The new aqueous series of blocked isocyanate dispersions are designed for aqueous 1-K systems. It can be used as a cross-linking agent or adhesion promoter for coatings on textile/leather/paper/plastic and film/metal/glass and other hard substrates. The current product range includes anionic and nonionic types. A wide pH range is provided with a wide range of aqueous auxiliaries/binders/pigments and other additives.
